Kathryn + Phillip // Cinematic Film // The Carriage Rooms at Montalto

This a newly finished film produced by us for Kathryn & Phillip.

We started the day of with Phillip in the morning shooting groom preparations. Phillip was an absolute pleasure, making sure to we got enough light and that nothing was rushed. He & the guys casually got ready then shared a bottle of bubbly before heading off down to the venue to greet the guests arriving.

We then called Kathryn’s house in Donaghadee and the view from their garden overlooking the sea was stunning, unfortunately for us it was extremely windy and cold! But they braved the cold for the bride to be revealed to her Daddy and it looked amazing. Kathryn was just soaking everything in and looking very calm before heading off to meet Phillip.

The light inside the ceremony location was very harsh with a spotlight being shone behind them, but none the less we exposed for the skin tones and it worked out well!

They shared their vows, had some kind works said to them about their future marriage together and made their way down the isle gleaming with life.

Off to the reception we then went, this being the first time we had the pleasure of shooting at The Carriage Rooms at Montalto. We would highly recommend this venue to any recently engaged couples looking somewhere to tie the knot. The entire wedding building is yours, the glasshouse out the back is beautiful, the scenes around the venue are beautiful, the reception room is beautiful and the staff were highly accommodating to both us and the photographer.

We shot our couples session out in the gardens area of the venue and there was a contrast of different options in regards to scenery, we absolutely loved the imagery we captured here.

They then shared intimate speeches together were emotions got high and we behind the camera started to feel like we should maybe shed a tear!

They then relaxed and enjoyed the rest of their evening while we captured guests having a ball.

Finally we said our goodbyes and left them to their night with no more cameras.

It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their day and we can’t wait to shoot here again.
